High-throughput, full rotation Soft X-ray Tomograms of the whole structure of intact biological cells.

July 25, 2024

SiriusXT’s SXT-100 Soft X-ray Microscope is unique in its ability to image the whole internal structure of intact biological cells, in their native state and with nanometer-resolution. The SXT-100 supports both glass capillary and grid-mounted cells.

The capillary mode of imaging delivers full-rotation tomograms, enabling segmentation of cell organelles and other cell-bound particles, based on highly accurate density and volume measurements.

The grid mode of imaging enables the Soft X-ray images to be easily correlated with electron microscopy images, taken using the same grid substrate, thus facilitating higher throughput imaging workflows.

SiriusXT will be exhibiting and presenting the SXT-100’s capabilities at the upcoming M&M2024 conference, July 28th to August 1st, in Cleveland. Come visit with us at Booth 319.
