Meet with SiriusXT and our collaborators at EMC 2024, Europe’s largest event dedicated to microscopy and imaging, 25th-30th August in Copenhagen, Denmark, to discuss the use of cryo soft X-ray microscopy in correlative workflows.
- Jakub Javurek, TESCAN, will give a talk elaborating on the topic of “A cryo workflow combining light, electron and soft X-ray microscopy provides targeting of unlabeled features”.
- Dr. Chris Parmenter, University of Nottingham, will present a poster discussing “Cryo-FIB as a preparation tool for soft X-ray tomography: Analysis beyond EM”.
- Prof. Roland Fleck, Kings College London, will present a poster, introducing his work on “Sample preparation for correlative light, lab-based soft X-ray tomography, and cryo FIB-SEM correlative imaging of biological cells”.
- SiriusXT will give a talk on the subject of “3D localisation of nanoparticles in whole cells using correlative cryo soft X-ray tomography and fluorescent microscopy”.
- SiriusXT will also present a poster on “Correlative cryo soft X-ray tomography and fluorescent microscopy of biological samples in the laboratory”.
The image above shows how the position of nanoparticles, used to deliver therapeutics and vaccines to targeted end points in cells, can be tracked using soft X-ray microscopy. (Samples provided by the College of Science, University College Dublin).
EMC is Europe’s largest event dedicated to microscopy and imaging, taking place 25th-30th August in Copenhagen, Denmark.
We look forward to seeing you there!
