SiriusXT is honoured to be a co-organiser of Symposium C05 “Correlative Microscopy using Light, Electron and X-ray Microscopy (CLEXM)” at the annual M&M Conference in Cleveland, Ohio on the 28th of July – 1st of August, delving into the unique benefits and applications of Soft X-ray Tomography for the Laboratory, and the latest advances in novel workflow developments.

We are pleased to see presentations on a range of disease research topics where SiriusXT’s SXT-100 Table-Top Soft X-ray Microscope has contributed to advancing our understanding of disease causation and transmission mechanisms. These include;

– 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐤, 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧, – a keynote speaker for the symposium, will present on the topic of “Multi-scale correlative workflows, challenges and opportunities for cryo CLEM”. (C05.3).

– 𝐃𝐫. 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬 𝐄𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐬, 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐃𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐧, will discuss “CoCID: compact cell imaging device for correlative investigation of Hepatitis E infection” (C05.1)

– 𝐃𝐫. 𝐏𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐨 𝐆𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐳𝐚, 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞 (𝐂𝐍𝐁-𝐂𝐒𝐈𝐂), has prepared a poster on “Rapid HCV replication machinery removal after antiviral treatment with direct antiviral agents monitored by multimodal imaging” (C05.P1)

– 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐣𝐚 𝐕𝐢𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐧-𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚, 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐉𝐲𝐯ä𝐬𝐤𝐲𝐥ä, 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝, has prepared a poster on “ Herpesvirus-induced manipulation of the nucleolus” (C05.P1)

– 𝐃𝐫. 𝐊𝐞𝐧 𝐅𝐚𝐡𝐲, 𝐕.𝐏. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐮𝐬𝐗𝐓, will be speaking on “Correlative cryo soft x-ray tomography and fluorescent microscopy of biological samples in the laboratory” (B09.4)
