Across-scales imaging is easy to promise and hard to deliver. Core Imaging Labs are being asked for three things at once; native-state preservation, context-rich views of real biology, and increased throughput. Add the need to correlate with EM (cryo-We are delighted to announce the launch of our new SiriusXT website. We would like to explain why the website itself is really just the tip of the iceberg, in terms of the effort that has been invested in it’s development. What you see online is the visible outcome of something much deeper: a full re-examination of how we tell our story, who we’re talking to, and what we stand for as a company.
Over the past few months, we’ve gone through a brand strategy process that’s helped us to clarify our Vision, Mission, and Value Proposition — three short statements that now act as the compass for everything we do.
Our Vision is simple but ambitious:
“To contribute to a healthier world by making soft X-ray microscopy accessible to researchers tackling the world’s biggest health challenges.”
Our Mission explains how we get there:
“To empower scientific discovery by equipping researchers with the first lab-based soft X-ray microscope — a compact, accessible tool that reveals the full structure of intact cells and tissues in 3D.”
And finally, our Value Proposition captures what makes SiriusXT different:
“We’re transforming cell and tissue imaging with a compact, cost-effective microscope that brings synchrotron-level performance into your lab, enabling rapid, high-resolution, natural-contrast imaging that accelerates discovery.”
But a single “value proposition” doesn’t speak equally to everyone. A facility manager cares about throughput, sample handling and workflow integration; a principal investigator cares about data quality, publication potential, and the scientific insight. So we’ve worked on fine-tuning our message for different customer personas, ensuring that each audience sees the brand benefits most relevant to them.
Underpinning all of this are the foundational brand benefits that define SiriusXT:

Our new website is the first place you’ll see these principles come together — in our tone of voice, our visuals, and our storytelling. But more importantly, it’s a reflection of how we now see ourselves: as partners to scientists who are driving the future of medicine and biology.
So while the website may look like a redesign, it’s really a reflection of a renewed identity — a sharper understanding of our purpose, and a stronger connection to the community we serve.
